If your child is attending school full-time they will be staying for lunch-time. Please ensure you make arrangements for their lunches.

Paid school meals
At Lime Academy Watergall we will be moving to a cashless system before Christmas where school dinner money can be paid online or at shops with the PayPoint sign. Parents will recive receive a letter that will include a username and password for the online payments and a bar code for shop payments. School accounts must be in credit for your child to receive a school meal. As a school we would suggest that you pay at least one week in advance to keep the account in credit. If your child’s account falls below £8.00 (4 meals) you will receive a text alerting you of this.

If your child’s account falls below zero (£0.00) you will receive a text advising you of this and you should bring in a packed lunch as we will not provide a school meal to your child.

Online payments take 24hours to show on the account, shop payments take 3 days, so please allow for this when arranging payments.

Healthy eating
We all want to help our children stay healthy and happy as they grow up. Here at Lime Academy Watergall we want to help children lead a healthy lifestyle by offering healthy food choices at lunchtime. You can find out much more about healthy eating at the Children’s Food Trust website.

Free school meals
If you are in receipt of Income Support or Jobseeker’s Allowance you may be entitled to apply for Free School Meals for your child. Please complete the Free School Meals application form (link to go in on live site). This process needs to be completed before your child is due to start attending school.

Please note that we are unable to provide your child with a free school meal until we have received written confirmation from the Local Authority.

In 2013 the Government introduced the universal infant free school meals (UIFSM) grant, which enables schools to provide free school meals to all pupils in reception, year 1 and year 2.
