Teaching Assistant

 Enthusiastic and Committed TA needed for Lime Academy Watergall. 

Lime Academy Watergall is a welcoming and diverse two-form entry primary school located in Peterborough. Lime Academy Watergall offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled TA to give small group support to a pupil /pupils primarily within lower KS2. 

 Post information:

Grade: 6

Point: 7 -12

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Contract type: This is a permanent contract

You must be:

  • qualified at the appropriate level (NVQ Level 2/3 TA qualification)
  • committed to driving high standards and expectations of performance;
  • have fun/enthusiasm/passion for learning and enjoy working with children;
  • hard working, flexible, committed and reliable;
  • be well organised
  • willing to go the ‘extra mile’ and have a ‘can do’ approach;
  • raise aspirations, expectations and achievement of children;
  • form excellent relationships with all pupils and develop good credibility with learners;
  • be open to change and develop practice with the needs of the pupil;
  • be prepared to play an active role in feeding back to parents and colleagues regarding both the needs and progress of the child.

 Cleaner in Charge 

 Lime Academy Watergall is a lively and diverse two-form entry primary school located in Bretton, Peterborough.  Lime Academy Watergall offers an exciting opportunity for someone to become part of our Site Team.

  • Hours:                   2:30pm – 6.00pm. 205 days per year. (Term Time plus 10 days)
  • Positions:            x 1
  • Contract type:   Permanent
  • Responsible for: Cleaners

We are looking to appoint a Cleaner in Charge to oversee our team of cleaners. The successful candidate will have their own dedicated area to clean daily with time allocated for the supervisory element of the role. This will include securing of the school at the end of the day. Good communication skills, a team building attitude and a friendly approach are key to this role.

Trust Community Engagement Officer

Lime Trust, is recruiting a Trust Community Engagement Officer to join its friendly and hard-working Schools based in our Peterborough hub.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic Community Engagement Officer with the passion and commitment to help drive the Lime Trust schools to become outstanding. We want to become our schools to set standards and procedures for others to follow. 

The primary purpose of this role is to maximise the reach of the service to families and children in vulnerable circumstances.  To co-ordinate and deliver outreach drop within the School.  To assess family needs and provide direct support to those families.  To lead on service user involvement by educating, supervising and developing both parents and young people to support active outreach.  To seek development opportunity for the service in order to address unmet need – creatively finding additional resources and working in partnership.

We have high expectations and a strong commitment to raising standards. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Peterborough Hub School’s team, working closely with the Headteachers and Senior Leadership Teams within those Schools.  Enabling the schools to continue on their journeys towards excellence. Our children are delightful, eager to learn and they make Lime Trust schools vibrant and fulfilling places to work. 

The successful candidate will have

  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and families
  • Good communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic approach
  • Be willing to work as part of a team
  • Have experience of working in a school or local authority environment
